Hired in 1932, Charles E. Reid became the Boards first Association Executive. Since then, there have been a total of 13 Association Executives to serve in that position.

After 1960, there was a consistent turnover with the Association Executive position with the exceptions of Matthew Dwyer who served for 6 years, and Frederick J. Straka who served for 3 years. Most other Executives served less than 2 years in the period between 1960 and 1983.

The longest serving Association Executive is Nunzio Del Greco with 25 years of service.  In New York State, Del Greco became the 3rd Association Executive to earn the prestigious RCE (Realtir Certified Executive) designation and the 1st male Executive in New York with the RCE designation.
